STANDARD FEATURES INFO :
1. Our blocks are made of linden wood (also called lime tree or basswood) or European poplar (also called aspen or cottonwood). It depends on particular order which one we're using (lime tree tends to be a bit more yielding). Both of them are soft, smooth, milliner-friendly and easy to use blocking pins on.
Sometimes when blocks are intended for machine use, after consultation with the customer, we are making them of alder wood, which is harder.

2. All our blocks are also covered with waterproof, polyurethane lacquer. It impregnates the wood properly and gives it a little shine.
3. Our blocks have 3 holes from the bottom, each one has 2,5 cm ( 0,98" ) in diameter. Central one is for mounting and it will fit most hat block stands. Two ones on sides are for better finger grip and handling.

1. We strongly encourage you to place both large and small individual orders. We will be very happy to supply you with everything you need, since all our blocks are fully customizable. We can satisfy every milliner by crafting even the most ingenious wishes basing on projects, sketches, photos and drawings, so we strongly encourage you to keep in touch and share your original ideas.

2. Order schedule: after receiving your wishes (through checkout or custom request) and your payment, we are beginning to craft your block. It usually takes 1-2 weeks to complete the whole order. Sometimes it takes less time, sometimes more, so you need to ask if you want to know the exact time or you are in rush and you wish your order to be dealt with priority. Either way, we will inform how much will it probably take at the beginning and then the second time when we will know for sure when your order will be shipped. Shipping time depends on your location.
3. Actual, physical products can slightly differ in grains, wood texture and color from photos presented above.
4. All objects visible on pictures and not mentioned in the description or title are not included in quoted price.
5. All our products are made to order and custom, we are crafting each block for individual need and therefore most of them are not returnable.

VARIATIONS INFO ( with some blocks you can choose to order ) :
1. Tipper ( metal ) for easier shaping of the top part of the block. Metal ones are heavier and can be heated.
2. Workshop or display stand with customizable height. Simple workshop stand is for working with a block, display stand with custom head shape is for displaying finished hats.
3. String groove for better material stretching. It helps with fixing the material to the block. [free]
